Dear Mrs. Lori Siegelman, The Siegelman
Family, and Siegelman Legal Defense Fund,
My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor,
Michigan and I have a strong interest in studying history, government, social
justice, and the criminal justice system. He main reason I have a strong interest in
these areas is because I like to learn the need to make Civil Rights stronger
to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution by supporting
renewable energy with implementing environmental protection, have ways to
improve education to make learning a better environment for teachers including
students, and many others. The reason I’m
writing you a letter is to tell you on how your husband Governor Don Siegelman
is a true inspiration to me with his work as Governor of Alabama and how I send
my sympathy to you and your family about Governor Siegelman being put into jail
for a crime that he didn’t commit.
When your husband Don Siegelman was 51st
Governor of Alabama, I liked on how he was a strong supporter of strengthening
including protecting Civil Rights from being weakened in order to protect
minorities, women, and people with disabilities from being discriminated. To create jobs in Alabama, I liked on how he
worked with different automobile industries like Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, and
Hyundai to help build plants to hire workers and to train engineers to learn
how to make cars or vehicles efficient for people to drive. On the environment, I appreciate on how he
pushed for superfund cleanups to help clean up rivers in his state including
drinking water to provide safety for people to use or drink and advocated to
move on alternative energy to reduce pollution including addiction to oil with
gas. I find Governor Siegelman’s education record like funding special
education to help students with disabilities get assistance or accommodations
to help them learn better and launching Alabama Reading Initiative, a reading
literacy program to help early children including people with illiteracy
problems or people with disabilities get help on learning how to read to
improve on comprehension.
Ms. Siegelman, I have Autism with a
learning disability and having a disability is hard for me because I have
trouble comprehending learning different subjects where I require a lot of
assistance to help me learn, have trouble with communication when speaking with
other people, and sometimes I get teased by other people. Special education and
The American With Disabilities Act of 1990
heldped me get an education by having accommodations to help me learn
and made Civil Rights stronger to help protect me from being discriminated. Governor
Siegelman’s work on being a strong
supporter including helping people with disabilities really inspires me to
continue working hard on Autism. Governor Siegelman’s story about being put
into jail for a crime that he didn’t commit that was corruption inspires me to learn the need for judicial
reform to reduce the judicial system from being corrupt or playing bad politics
where it is a witch hunt to hurt innocent people. Ms. Siegelman, I have studied
Siegelman’s story and I wanted to say that I support him and I agree with you
along with your family including both Attorney Generals from different states
and from different political parties that the prosecution of Don Siegelman is wrong.
Thanks for taking the time to read my
letter including reading my story, working hard to help your husband get the
assistance they need, and inspiring me to be interested in Governor Siegelman’s
story. I’m sending you a letter of praising Governor Siegelman including how he
inspires me, a donation to help your family including funding the Don Siegelman
Film, a documentary which is directed by Steve Wimberly, and a story of my life
what it is like having a disability where I dedicate it to Governor Siegelman I
was wondering if you could please forward my letter of Don Siegelman to
Governor Siegelman and please feel free to copy my story to send to him. I hope
my donation can help fund the documentary and my letter including my story can
help you and the family have a great holiday season. My prayers are for you,
your family, and Governor Don Siegelman to be strong, never give up hope, and
continue working hard to overcome different obstacles. I’m very proud to be a
supporter for you, your family, and Governor Siegelman and to contribute
donation to help fund a documentary about Governor Siegelman’s struggles.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick

Dear Governor Siegelman,
My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor,
Michigan and I have a strong interest in studying history. The main reason I
have a strong interest in studying history is to learn the need to advance on
Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from being discriminated,
protect the environment from pollution, make education a better place for
people to learn, and many others. My
future goal is to someday teach people about the need for reform to reduce
corruption in the judicial system and teach people about the need to improve
society. Governor Siegelman, I find your
work as 51st Governor of Alabama to be very inspiring to me and your
story about working hard to prove that you are innocent of a crime that you
didn’t commit to be very inspiring to me.
When you served as 51st
Governor of Alabama, I was very proud of you being strong supporter of
strengthening including protecting Civil Rights from being weakened in order to
protect minorities, women, and people with disabilities from being
discriminated. To create jobs in
Alabama, I liked on how you worked with different automobile industries like
Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai to help build plants to hire workers and
to train engineers to learn how to make cars or vehicles efficient for people
to drive. I like your commitment to
protect the environment by pushing for superfund cleanups to help clean up
rivers in his state including drinking water to provide safety for people to
use or drink and advocated to move on alternative energy to reduce pollution
including addiction to oil with gas. Your education record like funding special
education to help students with disabilities get assistance or accommodations
to help them learn better and launching Alabama Reading Initiative, a reading
literacy program to help early children including people with illiteracy
problems or people with disabilities get help on learning how to read to
improve on comprehension is common sense.
I have Autism with a learning
disability and having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble
comprehending on learning different subjects and have trouble with
communication when speaking with other people. Special
education and The American With Disabilities Act of 1990 helped me get an education by having
accommodations like extra time on exams,
have a tutor or T.A. work with me on different subjects, and have educational
resources to help me improve on comprehension and it help expand Civil Rights
to help protect me from being discriminated. Even though these things helped me I still
struggle with a disability. Your work as Governor of Alabama on supporting
Civil Rights including helping people with disabilities inspires me to work
hard on Autism. Your story about working hard to prove that
you are innocent of a crime that you didn’t commit because of a corrupted
judicial system inspired me to be interested in reading Free Don Siegelman’s
campaign including learning about the need to have reform in the judicial
system to reduce corruption along with playing political witch hunt on innocent
people. Governor Siegelman, I have read your story and I wanted to show my
support for you by writing you a letter of how you inspired me, also I sent Ms.
Lori Siegelman, your wife a letter of my support for you and your family
including a donation to help fund a
documentary explaining your story. I hope these things can help give you hope
and positive motivation to help you continue working hard to overcome your
struggle.
Governor Siegelman, thanks for taking
the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference through your
role as Governor of Alabama including working hard to share your story about a
corrupted judicial system, and inspiring me. You have made an impact on me to
continue working hard on Autism and to learn the need to reform the criminal
justice system to reduce corruption in the system including having checks and balances to help protect people
with civil liberties from being violated. I wish you a Happy Holiday and
remember be strong when times are hard, never give up hope, and continue
advocating for criminal justice reform.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
