Dear Mayor Feeney,

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I enjoy learning history with public policy. In these subjects, I like to learn the need to make Civil Rights stronger to help protect people who are different from being discriminated, protect the environment from pollution, improve education to help make learning environment a better place, and many others.  Mayor Feeney, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is because I find your work as Mayor of Chillicothe, Ohio to be very inspiring to me and explain how I find your speech at the DNC 2016 was great.

In your current role as Mayor of Chillicothe, I am very proud on how you are committed to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights to help protect women, minorities, and people with disabilities from being discriminated in education, jobs, and public places.  Also on Civil Rights, I liked on how you are an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, support funding women including minorities businesses to help them compete in the economy, and express the need to have equal pay for women to help protect them from being discriminated in pay. To protect the environment, I like on how you create volunteering programs to help engage citizens of Chillicothe to help clean up the community, provide funds to clean up parks with rivers including water to make them safe for people to use, support renewable energy projects (solar, wind, biofuel, and energy efficient products) to reduce addiction to oil with gas, expand on trash with recycle services to help reduce trash overflowing, and encourage businesses to use energy efficient products to help reduce high energy cost.  Pushing for after school programs to help youth get help from tutors on assignments, funding special education to help students with disabilities get the accommodations that they need to learn, and partnering with schools including public libraries to find ways to improve literacy programs to help people who are illiterate get the help they need to improve reading are great ways to make education and learning a better place.  Another thing that I like about your work as Mayor of Chillicothe, Ohio is how you work with different historical sites, museums, and national parks to help provide funds to help preserve them to help make learning a better place for people and to make history be accessible to people to learn on how history shaped society.

Mayor Feeney, I have Autism with a learning disability. Having Autism is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects especially new things, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.   Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights, be an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, and support people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on Autism. In July 2016, I watched the DNC 2016 and I saw your speech.  I enjoyed watching your speech because I thought you did an excellent job explaining about how small businesses, including people who make a great difference for Ohio including your city, express the need to help small businesses do well in the economy, and explain on how Hilary Clinton can make a great difference.  Your role as Mayor of Chillicothe and your commitment to help preserve history motivates me to continue my interest in learning history.  My future goal is to someday teach history to help emphasize the need to make Civil Rights stronger, protect the environment,  a strong need to preserve historical sites, and many others.

Mayor Feeney, I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in your current role as Mayor of Chillicothe, Ohio. I’m very proud on how you work hard to help make your community including society a better place.  You did an excellent job making your speech great at the DNC 2016.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability and continue my motivation to learn history.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference including make your DNC 2016 speech great, and inspiring me. I wish you well to continue to make a great difference in society in your current role as Mayor of Chillicothe, Ohio and to continue to push for great ideas to make society better.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
