Dear Mr. Black,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of
your work as a comedian. My favorite comedy
work that you did was Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil, The Daily Show with Jon
Stewart, and Disney Inside Out. I enjoyed watching Lewis Black’s Root of All
Evil because I enjoyed on how you made different topics including current
events have a sense of humor while presenting facts and how you did a great job
hosting on how different comedians would present a topic. On the Daily Show with Jon Stewart I thought
you did an excellent job being a commentator explaining the current events with
Jon Stewart. You and Jon Stewart did an excellent job making the Daily Show
funny while explaining current events.
In the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, I enjoyed Back n Black with Lewis
Black because I liked on how you made comments in a humorous rants and how you
were creative on making different subjects
or current events have a mix between rant and humor. Besides watching you on comedy tv shows, I
enjoy watching your stand up comedy on youtube.
In June 2015, I went to the movie theaters to see Disney Inside
Out. I enjoyed the story about a young girl named
Riley where she has five personified emotions Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and
Disgust where they help shape Riley with her emotions. Mr. Lewis, I thought you
did an excellent job playing Anger in Disney Inside Out because I thought you
did an excellent job making Anger have a humorous rants while having a Disney
personality for his character like caring about the other emotions mates
including Riley.
Mr. Lewis, your work in comedy really
inspire me to be interested in watching comedy tv shows and watching stand up
comedy on youtubes. I enjoy watching the
Daily Show with Jon Stewart because I liked on how Jon Stewart did a great job
explaining current events, points out some of the mistakes in the news media
while having a sense of humor. I really
enjoyed seeing you be a correspondent on the show because you made the show
funny. Another thing is that I like on
how you serve as ambassador for voting rights for the American Civil Liberties
Union where you advocate for the need to protect voter’s rights from being
taken away, expand Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from
being discriminated, and many others. I have Autism with a learning disability
and having it is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning
different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get
teased. Your role as an Ambassador for voting rights and advocate for Civil
Rights including people with disabilities really inspires me to work hard on my
disability. Also the Daily Show including your work on it
motivates me to be a fan of The Daily Show because it does a great job pointing
out flaws in current events while having some comedy and it was easy for me to
comprehend.
I strongly believe that you made a
great difference in your current role as a comedian. I’m proud on how you worked hard making The
Daily Show a great comedy show and how you make comedy funny along with
enjoyable. You have inspired me to be a fan of comedy, be a fan of your work
including The Daily Show, and work hard on my disability. Here is a picture of me as a gift to you to
keep for inspiring me. Also here is $5 donation for you to donate to the
theatre to fund the arts. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working
hard to make comedy fun with funny, and inspiring me. I wish you well for the future in comedy and
on Broadyway.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
