Dear Mr. Garber,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. Favorite movies that you played in were Titanic, Milk, and Argo. In Titanic,  I enjoyed the plot about how Rose met Jack on the RMS Titanic.  Also what I enjoyed in the movie was on how it featured real historical figures that boarded the Titanic like Molly Brown, Thomas Andrews, Captain Smith, Bruce Ismay,  John Jacob Astor IV,  second Officer Lightoller, and many others.  What I liked about Titanic was how it showed on how a person from a wealthy lifestyle can have a friendship with a person from a lower class.  Also in Titanic I really liked on how Jack and Rose would have some interaction with some of the famous historical figures before the Titanic sank.  Mr. Garber, you did an excellent job portraying as  Thomas Andrews because I liked on how you made him an interesting historical figure by working to help the other passengers get to safety when the ship hit the iceberg, and how he is very kind and friendly to people. In Argo,  I enjoyed the plot of the movie about how a CIA agent Mendez pretending to film a science fiction movie to help rescue 6 U.S. Diplomats  who escaped for the embassy during the Iran hostage crisis.  You did an excellent job portraying Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor to Iran  because I liked on how you made Ambassador Taylor really like a historical figure on willing to risk his life to help shelter the 6 U.S. Diplomats from being harmed by Iran and working with CIA agent Mendez on finding a safe passage for them to return to the U.S.  Milk was a great biopic about Harvey Milk’s life about how he was a strong supporter of Civil Rights including LGBT rights, dealing with his struggle in society as a homosexual, and many others. In Milk, I enjoyed seeing how Harvey Milk had some allies that helped supported him like Mayor George Moscone. My favorite tv shows that you played in were Alias and DC Legends of Tomorrow.  In Alias, you really made Jack Bristow a great character on the show because I liked on how you made him have a great traits like caring about protecting his daughter Sydney, a CIA agent from danger including helping her deal with different hard lifestyle like losing her best friend with having trouble balancing her life as a spy and her [personal life.  Also in Alias, you and Ms. Jennifer Garner made     Jack and Sydney Bristow a great father and daughter team up.  In Legends of Tomorrow and Flash I really enjoyed on how you really make Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm a great superhero on the show because I liked on how you made him have interesting traits like being really smart at science,  learning how to help Firestorm understand his powers, helping Barry Allen/Flash on helping understand his abilities, and working with different superheroes to save the world. Also In the DC shows I liked on how it did a crossover with Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow and I thought you did an excellent job making Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm a great teammate for the other superheroes.

Besides your acting career, I really like your activism on advocating for human rights including people with disabilities’ rights. Also I really like on how you are supportive of donating money to continue to fund arts and expressing the need for diversity in the entertainment industry. Mr. Garber, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when I lose motivation Your advocacy for human rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your role in historical movies including biopic movies helps give me motivation to continue my interest in learning history. The main reason I like learning history is because it helps motivates me to work hard when I face struggles in life like dealing with a disability and understanding how society works.  In history, I like learning  about how famous people or individuals (minorities, women, people with disabilities, and other background) work hard to make a great difference for society, understand the need for Civil Rights to be strong to reduce discrimination,  and many others.

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in historical movies including biopics and tv shows. You really do an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits.  You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be motivated to continue to learn history, and be a fan of your acting, Here is a picture of me as gift to you for inspiring me and $5 as a donation for you to use to help fund human rights or the arts to make society a better place. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job acting including making a great difference, and inspiring me. I wish you well on your future in acting and on Broadway.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
