Dear Mr. Baker,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of
your acting. My favorite movies that you played in were Spiderman 2, Thirteen
Days, and Secretariat. In Spiderman 2, I
liked the story about Peter Parker trying to learn how to balance his life with
his crime fighting as Spiderman. Mr. Baker, I thought you did an excellent job
portraying as Dr. Curt Connors because I liked on how you made him have
different unique traits like caring about Peter Parker’s wellbeing when he has
struggles in his personal life or his academic work and helping Peter
understand different resources or research to help Peter use what he learns to
help make Spiderman a hero for the city.
Thirteen Days was a great historical movie about The Cuban Missile
Crisis and how the JFK administration worked on handling the crisis. In the movie I liked learning about how the
military, President JFK, some of the advisors of the JFK administration would
have different views on if they should continue this mission or not. I thought
you did great on making Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara a historical
figure because I liked learning about his life when he served in public service
including the JFK administration. Secretariat is a great biopic movie about how
Penny Chenery got into the horse racing businesses and running the businesses
to help the horse (Secretariat) do well in the races. Also in
Secretariat I enjoyed learning about hoe how the other Chenery siblings and
certain of Penny’s friends help Penny understand the businesses while giving
her some advice. I really liked on how
you made Hollis Chenery an influential historical figure because I liked on how
you made Hollis have good traits like helping his sibling Penny understand life
when she struggles in the horse racing businesses and understanding life when
there are difficulties.
Mr. Baker, I have autism with a
learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble
comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to
communicate my thoughts, and get
teased. Your acting in movies help
inspire me to work hard on my disability.
Also your roles in historical movies like Thirteen Days and Secretariat helped me get
motivated to learn more American history. In American history I like learning
about how famous Americans or different individuals (minorities, women,
immigrants, and people with disabilities) on how they work hard to make a great
difference for society, the importance of making Civil Rights stronger to
reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, how diversity
including arts or entertainment makes society diverse for people, and many
others. The main reason why I like
learning history is because it helps me learn more how society works, expands
my interest in learning about the need to make social justice a better place,
and many others.
I strongly believe that you are a very
talented actor. You do such an excellent job making your characters have unique
traits. Also to add I think that you do a great job making historical movies
great to watch and learn on how the historical plays an important factor in
society. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability and to be motivated
to continue to learn history. Here is $5 for you to
use to help fund the arts to make society a better place. Thanks for taking the time to read my
letter, working hard to make movies great including your characters, and
inspiring me. I wish you the best for
the future in acting.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
