Dear
Mr. Trebek,
My
name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work. My favorite game show that you
are currently hosting is Jeopardy.
Jeopardy is a great game show because
I like the concept of the show about how contestants use clues in
different forms of answers to paraphrase
response to a certain questions or have to give an answer to a
question. Another reason I like Jeopardy
is because I enjoy learning different facts ranging from history, science, and
different other topics. Mr. Trebek, I think that you do such an excellent job
hosting the show because I like on how you treat the contestants with respect,
work hard to give out clues or help give a question for the contestant
understand the topic, and have a sense of humor.
Besides
your role as a game tv host, I really like your activism. The activism that I
really like is how you are an advocate for the need to make Civil Rights
stronger including people with disabilities’ rights to reduce discrimination, raise money to help protect the environment
form pollution including using it to help preserve public lands, and many
others. Mr. Trebek, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability
is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different
advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get
teased. Your advocacy for Civil Rights
including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on
my disability. Also when I was in elementary school through my community
college my classes would do Jeopardy style to help prepare students including
me to answer questions to review before having an exam. When I would do these with the rest of the
students I would have difficulty learning things and trying to comprehend on
the subject. I would watch the episodes of Jeopardy to help me practice to
answer the questions related to the topic. Your role as the game tv host of Jeopardy
and the show Jeopardy helps me continue my motivation to learn different
subject especially history.
I
strongly believe that your are making a great difference in Jeopardy. You do an
excellent job hosting The Jeopardy. I
truly appreciate your activism to help improve society. You have inspired me to
work hard on my disability, use what I learn from the Jeopardy show to help
improve m learning, and to be motivated to learn different subjects. Here is $5
for you to use to donate to charity to make society and better place and a
picture of me as a gift to you for inspiring me. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter,
making a great difference for society including Jeopardy, and inspiring me. I
wish you the best to continue to make a great impact on society and the
Jeopardy show.
Sincerely,
Matt
Winick
