Dear Ms. McDonald,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you played in was Private Practice. Private Practice was a great medical drama show  about a team of doctors including medical staff who work in the Seaside Wellness Center where they help patients who have medical issues, how the practice works, and how they find time to live their everyday life.  Ms. McDonald, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Dr. Naomi Bennett  because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about patients wellbeing when they can’t afford health insurance,  using her expertise on fertility specialist along with obstetrics to help women understand their medical issues, and working with the rest of the team in Seaside Wellness Center to help patients including work together on dealing with how to handle a medical case when there are disagreement.   Another reason I liked Private Practice was how it focus on topics like the need for healthcare reform to help people who have pre-existing conditions or who can’t afford health insurance get the care they need,  have diversity in the workplace,  emphasize the need for better care for people how have issues with mental health, and some of the ideas of social justice.   In Private Practice, I really liked on seeing how the rest of the cast would work on making their characters also focus on friendships when there was conflict or a disagreement.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are an activist to help improve society.  In your activism, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination, raise money to help African Americans who are low-income get help on education, express the need for diversity in entertainment to accept people who are different or who come from a different background, and many others.   Ms. McDonald, I have autism with a learning disability.  Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter and advocate of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your activism and your role in Private Practice helps me get interested in learning the importance of health care reform, a strong need to improve social justice, and develop an interest in social justice including history.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You really did a great job making your character have different unique traits in Private Practice.  Also your commitment to help improve society including social justice is very inspiring me. you have truly inspire to work hard on my disability,  be a fan of Private Practice, and be motivated to continue to learn history including social justice.   Here is a picture of me in NYC as a gift to you to keep for inspiring me and a small donation for you to use to help your charity. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job acting, and inspiring me.  I wish you the best for the future.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
