Dear
Mr. Harris,
My
name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movies that you
played in were Apollo 13, Pollock,
Copying Beethoven, and
Appaloosa. Apollo 13 was a great
historical movie about Apollo Commander Jim Lovell, Pilot Jack Swigert, and
Pilot Fred Haise going on the Apollo 13 to head to the moon where their
spaceship has a malfunction which results in NASA including the flight
controllers work on finding way to save the three astronaunts. In the movie I really like learning about how
the NASA along with the flight controllers on how they worked on a plan to save
the crew of Apollo 13th and how the Apollo 13 astronaunts are
handling the situation. Pollock was a
great biopic movie because I enjoyed learning about the life of an American painter Jackson
Pollock, how he struggles on combating against alcoholism, and developing a
style of drip painting. Copying Beethoven was another great historical movie about
Beethoven’s final years on battling with a disability that is deafness and
developing a friendship with Anna where she helps assist him on writing music. Also in
Copying Beethoven I really liked on the friendship between Anna and Beethoven
and how Beethoven became a mentor to Anna on her interest in writing
music. I thought you really did a great
job portraying as Ludwig van Beethoven
in Copying Beethoven, as Jackson Pollock
in Pollock, and Mr. Gene Kanz in Apollo 13 because I liked on how you made
these historical characters in biopics along with historical movies have
different unique traits on how they worked hard when they had struggles in
life, how they made some good contribution to help society or shape history,
and many others. Appaloosa is another
favorite western movie that I liked because I enjoyed the plot about a lawman
Virgil Cole and his deputy Everett Hitch comes to Appaloosa New Mexico to stop
a local rancher who is ruthless and to help protect the city from danger. Mr. Harris I thought you did a excellent job making Virgil Cole have great
traits like caring about the innocent people’s lives, wanting to end corruption
in the law, and working with his deputy Hitch on helping protect Allie from
danger.
Mr.
Harris, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard
for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance
subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your
acting in movies gives me inspiration to work hard on my disability and to be
interested in watching some of the movies that you play in. Your role in historical movies including
biopic movies helps me continue my motivation to continue to learn American
history and world history. In history I
like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce
discrimination, the need to protect the environment from pollution, and how
different influential people or famous people (minorities, women, and people
with disabilities) who work hard to push
for great ideas or make a great different for society. Also I enjoy learning about famous people or
different influential people ranging from actors, actresses, some celebrities, and public official on how
they work hard to make a great difference, advocate for common sense ideas, or
deal with overcoming different struggles because it helps inspire me to work hard on my disability,
develop more interest in learning about people’s life or their work, and many
others.
I
strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You do such a great job
acting in historical movies, biopics, western, and many other genres. You also do an excellent job making your
characters have different interest traits. You have truly inspired me to
continue to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue
my motivation ton learn more history including famous people or influential
people. I have also added $5 for you to use to donate to fund the arts. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter,
doing an excellent job acting, and inspiring me. I wish you the best on your Broadway show and
to continue to do great acting.
Sincerely,
|
