Dear Mr. Sheen,
My name is Matt Winick and I enjoy watching you act in movies and also my favorite T.V. Show The West Wing. My favorite movies that you played in are Wall Street, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can, The American President, and Bobby. The West Wing was a great political tv show about President Jed Barlett and his presidential administration on how they had to deal with the political system to help America. Mr. Sheen, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as President Jed Barlett because I liked on how you made him have different unique traits like having compassion when people have difficulty with life in America or when they deal with politics, working with members of his presidential administration to find different solutions to help our country along with work as a team when there are differences, and many others. Another thing that I liked about President Jed Barlett is how he works hard to navigate his presidency to find some common ground or stand up for good principles when political parties aren’t supportive of them. I enjoyed watching all the episodes of season 1 through 7 of West Wing because it helped me learn what it is like for president to lead the country, how the political system works, and many others. Another show that I liked that you narrated in was Eyewitness. Eyewitness was a great educational series where it covered different topics related to science and some history. You did an excellent job narrating the Eyewitness because I liked on how you did an excellent job explaining different facts to the topics, explain how science plays a role in society, and many others.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to help reduce discrimination. Also on your activism I like on how you support environmental protection causes to reduce pollution, advocate for the need for health care reform to help protect people with pre-existing conditions or who can’t afford health care get the care they need, and express the need for better voter’s rights protection to help protect voters from losing their right to vote. Mr. Sheen, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Also your narration in the Eyewitness series helped me improve my comprehension on learning different topics and it helped give me motivation to learn on how science or topics or history shape society. Also you role as President Barlett in the West Wing and the tv show West Wing got me to interested in learning American history, president’s work, and how government works. In history, I like to learn the need for civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, have health care reform to help people with pre-existing conditions or who can’t afford health insurance get the care they need.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits and make narration great to help people like me learn. You have inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and learn different subjects. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
