Dear Ms. Marie Saint,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movies that you played in was North By Northwest, A Hateful of Rain, and Because of Winn-Dixie. North By Northwest was a great movie about Roger Thornhill who is trying to prove his innocence when he is accused of being some else and trying to stop government secrets from falling to the wrong hands. Ms. Marie Saint, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Eve Kendall because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like working to help Roger prove his innocence, developing a relationship with Roger when they have different challenges, and many others. In North By Northwest, my favorite scene was where Roger and Eve would try to escape from the bad guys by climbing the Mount Rushmore. A Hateful of Rain was an interesting movie about Johnny, a Korean Aar veteran who is known as a hero for his survival while helping some of his troops during the Korean War and has a struggle with being addicted to morphine due to his injuries. In A Hateful of Rain, I liked on how you made Celia have different unique traits like caring about her husband Johnny when he has challenges on being addicted to morphine along with his struggles of PTSD and working with Johnny’s relatives to try to help Johnny get cleaned. The movie did an excellent job showing what it is like for people who are addicted to drugs and the importance of drug treatment programs to help drug-users get clean. Because of Winn-Dixie was another movie that I really like was because I enjoyed the plot of the film about a young girl named Opal who recently moved to Florida with her dad who is a minister and has to try to understand her life when she struggles to fit in. Ms. Marie Saint, I really like on how you made Ms. Franny Block an important character in the movie because I like on how you made Ms. Franny Block be kind to Opal when she struggles to fit into her new town, giving her advice about understanding friendship, and many others.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are an activist on supporting civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Marie Saint, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Also another thing that I struggle with a disability is when I have trouble maintaining friendships along with understand life when I lose friends due to some of my friends, peers of them, and other adults get judgmental about me being different from them. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also your role as Ms. Franny Block in Because of Winn-Dixie helps me try my best to understand life and how friendship works when there are challenges.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You have inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try my best to learn life. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make an impact on society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
