Dear Ms. Harris,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movies that you played in were Spiderman 1,2, and 3. The Spiderman movies was a great superhero movie about Peter Parker, a reporter where he gets bitten by a spider which gives him superpowers and has to learn how to use his abilities for good.  Ms. Harris, I  thought you did an excellent job portraying as  Aunt May Parker because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about her nephew Peter Parker when he struggles in life along with understanding how society works,  trying her best to overcome her difficulty when she loses her husband Ben Parker, and giving advice to Peter Parker when he has difficulty in maintaining a relationship with Mary Jane.  What I liked about the Spiderman series was how it had some good symbolisms like the need to learn from your mistakes to improve yourself to be a good person, how kindness is important in society, the need for friendships or being a good listener when times are hard, and the need to learn how to use ability to help yourself become a better person.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Harris, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Also another thing that I struggle with a disability is I have difficulty on maintaining friendships when some friends including peers along with adults get judgmental about me being different or have a disability, sometime I get rejected from society or social groups, and I lose motivation in myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also your character Aunt May in the Spiderman series helps give me some motivation to try to find ways to improve myself when I face challenges, learn better about compassion when I face struggles or get bullied, and many others.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You have inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try my best when there are challenges.  I was wondering if you could please give me some advice about working hard on my disability.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to work hard to make a great difference.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
