Dear Mr. Hanna,
My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I have a strong interest in learning history including social justice. In these subjects, I like to learn the need for civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others. Mr. Hanna, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work on studying animals including your work on conservation and your work as director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to be very inspiring to me.
In your role as director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, I really liked on how you worked to expand on medical care for the wildlife animals so they can rehabilitate from their injuries. Also I liked your approach to help improve animal’s life by making a transition from cage like enclosure to more of a habitat environment to help make the animal have more space along with fit well in their environment that they live in the wild. Also in your role as director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium I liked on how you increase more educational programs to help teach people about animals, increase more awareness programs to help educate the need to protect the environment from pollution along with the importance of respecting wildlife. Also I have enjoyed watching your shows Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures, Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild, and Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown because it is fun to learn about different animals, the need to protect the environment, and to understand more about different cultures around the world. Your website www.jackhanna.com is a great website because I really like learning about your life on how you became interested in animals, animal rights, conservation, and environmental protection.
Besides your work in wildlife issues, I truly appreciate on how you are an activist on supporting civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Mr. Hanna, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also in my early childhood to present I had struggles on comprehending on learning about animals, wildlife, and many others. Your role on tv hosts of your shows, the educational videos that is on the Columbus Zoo website, and your website help me learn more things in an easy way to comprehend. Also your activism on helping protect the environment helped me learn more about the need to protect the environment and different ways to reduce pollution. Your role as tv host, as director of Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and as an activist helps give me motivation to continue to learn history, social justice, and environment protection. My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the need or civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others.
I strongly believe that you are making a great difference for society. I’m very proud on how you are working hard to support animal’s rights, be an advocate of environmental protection, support civil rights causes, and many others. You have inspire me to work hard on my disability, learn about your work, and continue to learn different subjects. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to work hard to make a great difference for society.
