Dear Ms. Read Martin,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movie that you played in was Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Beyond the Valley of the Dolls had a great plot about a group of girls Kelly MacNamara, Casey Anderson, and Petronella “Pet” Danforth who form a rock band called Kelly Affair where they perform at different concerts and they have to deal with different challenges in life. Ms. Read Martin, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Kelly MacNamara, because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about her other band mates when they have difficulty in life, trying to work hard to understand life when there are challenges, and many others. Also what I liked about Kelly was how she was kind to other people including willing to help other people, be creative at singing, and many others. Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.
Ms. Read Martin, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also your character Kelly MacNamara in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls on her working hard to try to understand life while find different methods to improve herself despite challenges helps give me motivation to try to continue to have compassion along with expand on kindness to people when they have struggles, learn different methods to improve myself when I face obstacles, and try my best to understand life when there are challenges.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your character have different unique traits. You inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try to find different methods to understand life or improve myself. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
