Dear Mr. Butler,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you played in was Little House on The Prairie. Little House on The Prairie had a greta plot about Laura Ingalls Wilder family where they live on a farm and deal with life in a small village. Mr. Butler, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Almanzo James Wilder because I liked on how you made him have different unique traits like being kind to Laura Ingalls Wilder when she struggle to fit into society, helping the Wilder family when they deal with obstacles in life, being compassionate to other members of the village when they have hard times, and many others. Also what I liked about Little House on The Prairie was how it explored Laura Ingalls Wilders’s life including how she became a writer and have different life lessons like being kind along with compassion to other people when other people don’t appreciate you, the importance to find different methods to improve yourself or expand on your knowledge when there are obstacles, and many others. I enjoyed watching re-run episodes of Season 1 through 9 including the Little House on The Prairie because I like learning about
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Mr. Butler, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also your role as Almanzo James Wilder helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges, learn how kindness including compassion is important in society despite the negativity of the world, and many others. Little House on The Prairie and your role in it got me really motivated to learn history. In history, I like to learn the need for civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, learn how different famous people or individuals (minorities, women, and people with disabilities) who work hard make an impact on society, have health care reform to help people who have pre-existing conditions or who can’t afford health insurance get the care they need, and many others.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You did an excellent job making Almanzo James Wilder a great historical figure with different unique traits. You have inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting including Little House on The Prairie, find different methods to improve myself, and continue to learn history. I was wondering if you could take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
