Dear Mr. Travanti,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you starred in was Hill Street Blues. Hill Street Blues was a great police show about the lives of police officers including the staff in a police station where it is located in Hill Street. Mr. Travanti, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Captain Frank Furillo because I liked on how you made him have different unique traits like caring about other police officers or detective wellbeing when they struggle on the job or in life, showing compassion for victims of crime or victims of domestic violence, wanting to root out corruption in law enforcement, and many others. Also what I like about Captain Furillo is how he would continue his relationship with Joyce Davenport when they would have differences, find ways to continue his friendship along with working relationship with other law enforcement in the police station when they have different methods on solving a case, and working hard to improve himself when there are challenges including working on ending his addiction to Alcohol. Also what I liked about Hill Street Blues was how it focused on some criminal justice reform, how staff including law enforcement officers dealt with their personal lives while on the job, the importance of reducing corruption including police misconduct, and many others.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Mr. Travanti, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your role as Captain Frank Furillo in Hill Street Blues helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself and to be interested in learning about civil liberties including criminal justice reform.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress, You did an excellent job making Captain Frank Furillo a great character with different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, find different methods to improve myself, and develop an interest in learning civil liberties including criminal justice reform. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
