Dear Ms. Atkin,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work. My favorite work that you did was Assassin Creed Syndicate. Assassin Creed Syndicate is one of my favorite games because I enjoyed the plot about Jacob and Evie Frye, who are Assassins who work on freeing London from the Templar’s cruel ruling during the Industrial Revolution. Ms. Atkin, you really did an excellent job portraying as Evie Frye because I liked on how you made Evie have great characteristics like caring about her brother Jacob’s wellbeing, working with other famous historical figures to help London, and using her stealth including her method approach on handling a situation. Also in the game my favorite parts was how Jacob or Evie would interact with different historical figures like Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Dickens, Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale, and Duleep Singh on different missions. Another thing in the game I really liked was how you can explore London, use different gadgets that were fun to use, and do different activities like delivering products in a carriage, participating in fight clubs, and saving children from bad labor. Also what I liked about Evie Frye was how she would work hard to improve herself or work on finding different strategies to help her brother Jacob including his allies.
Ms. Atkins, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Also another thing I struggle with a disability is when other people get judgmental about me having a disability, sometimes I struggle to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges, and many others. Your role as Evie Frye and her characteristics really inspires me to work hard on my disability and to try to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges. Also Assassins Creed Syndicate helped me get motivated to continue to learn history, understand what the industrial revolution was like, and learn about the famous people ranging from Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale, and many others. Also in history I like to learn about how famous people or different individuals (minorities, women, people with disabilities) work hard to make a great difference for society, the need for Civil Rights including human rights to combat against discrimination, and many others. Another thing to add is my future goal is to someday work in a history job to help make history a better place for people or do some voice work for a videogame to help be creative. However it is hard for me to find a job is because I have a disability, some of my struggles are like have trouble with fast pace environment, not having a higher education but an Associates Degree, and have trouble being independent due to my struggle with a disability.
I strongly believe that you made a great difference in Assassins Creed Syndicate. I’m very proud on how you worked hard to make Evie Frye a great character with different unique traits. I had so much fun playing Evie and Jacob and interacting with the historical figures. You including Assassin Creed Syndicate really inspire me to continue to work hard on my disability and be motivated to learn more history. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job making Assassins Creed Syndicate a fund game, and inspiring me. I wish you the best for the future.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
