Dear Ms. Hubley,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movie that you starred in was Elvis. Elvis was a great tv historical biopic movie about the life of Elvis Presley’s life in his early career to his music career. Ms. Hubley, you did an excellent job portraying as Priscilla Presley because I like on how you made her have different unique traits like trying to help Elvis Presley when he struggles in understanding life, being supportive of Elvis’s work in the music industry, and continuing being close to Elvis when they get divorced. In Elvis, I enjoy learning about Elis Presley’s challenges in life and how he worked hard to overcome them while caring about his family.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Hubley, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in different settings including social environment, and get teased. Also the challenges with my disability that I face is when other people, friends, peers of them get judgmental about me being different or not meeting their standards. Your commitment to be a strong advocate for civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your role as Priscilla Presley in Elvis tv historical biopic movie helps me continue my interest in learning more U.S. History including biographies. In history and biographies, I like to learn the need to make civil rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, have health care reform to help people with preexisting conditions or who can’t afford health insurance get the care they need, explore famous people or individuals (minorities, women, people with different orientation, and people with disabilities) who work hard to make a positive impact on society or in the community, and many others. My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help educate people about the need to improve society, the importance of not repeating the same mistake in the past, and explore different ideas to make people’s lives better.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making Priscilla Presley a great historical figure in Elvis tv movie. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, learn more about your work including acting, and continue to learn history including biographies. I was wondering if you could please give me some advice about life when I struggle with autism including a learning disability.
Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make an impact on society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
