Dear Ms. Valentine,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you starred in was Room 222. Room 222 was a great comedy drama show about a history teacher Pete Dixon teaches American History class in Room 222 in Walt Whitman High School and works with other staff in the school to educate students. Ms. Valentine, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Ms. Alice Johnson because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits having compassion for students who struggle in life or have difficulty learning, learning how to be a better teacher as a student teacher, working with her mentor Pete Dixon to learn about the education system including develop techniques on how to be a teacher, and many others. Also what I liked about your character Ms. Alice Johnson is how she cared about students with disabilities when they face hardships, spoke out against bullying including racism or discrimination, working hard to improve herself when there are challenges. Also what I like about Room 222 was how it covered different topics like women’s rights, race relations, some political climate, and social justice. One of my favorite movies that you starred in was Disney The North Avenue Irregulars. The North Avenue Irregulars was a great Disney movie about Reverend Michael Hill who moves to a California with his children and teams up with a group of ladies to stop the mob from damaging society. In the movie, I liked how you made Jane/June Bride a great character by making her have a sense of humor, being creative on finding different methods to help Reverend Hill including other women to stop the mob, and caring about people.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Valentine, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in different settings, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your characters Ms. Alice Johnson in Room 222 and Jane/June Bride in The North Avenue Irregulars helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself, work on being compassionate while help people when they have tough times, and many others.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You did an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to work on improving myself while continue to have compassion when the world gets tough. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great impact on society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
