Dear Vice President Harris,

In these subjects, I like to learn the need for civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others. Vice President Harris, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work when you served as 32nd Attorney General of California, as U.S. Senator from California, and as current 49th Vice President of the U.S. to be very inspiring to me.

When you served as 32nd Attorney General of California from 2011-2017, I truly appreciated on how you were a strong supporter of civil rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, prosecuting people who commit hate crimes to help protect minorities including people who are different, and investigating public places that practice different forms of discrimination or violate civil rights legislation. Supporting drug treatment programs to help drug users get the care they need to reduce drug abuse, expanding resources to help victims of crimes or victims of domestic violence get help on dealing with their trauma, and supporting along with advocating for funds to help improve DNA testing including forensic science to help solve evidence or cases efficiently while reduce sending an innocent person to jail is common sense for criminal justice reform. In your role as U.S. Senator from California from 2017-2021, I like on how you continue to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights. Also in the U.S. Senate, I like on how you were supported environmental protection including renewable energy resources, holding judicial nominees accountable in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and being a strong advocate of immigration reform to help protect immigrants including refugees from oppressive countries.  In January 2021, I was amazed on how you made history on becoming the first African American and Asian American woman to become Vice President of the United States. In your current role as 49th Vice President of the United States, I like on how you are working with President Joe Biden to expand on civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights, using your power to cast tie-breaking votes to help pass The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to help provide funds to help combat against COVID-19 while expand on the COVID-19 vaccination production to help people get protected from the virus including supporting some of the President Biden judicial nominees that are supportive of criminal justice reform along with civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights, and heavily advocate for better ideas to help protect the environment from pollution.

Vice President Harris, I have autism with learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advanced subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in different settings, and get teased. Also with a disability I have struggles on trying to understand how society works due to my struggle with comprehension and I get bullied by women including adults about having a disability.  Your commitment to be s strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your role 32nd Attorney General of California, as former U.S. Senator from California, and as current 49th Vice President of the U.S. helps give me motivation to continue to learn history including social justice. My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the need for civil rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others.
