Dear Ms. Lee,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you were in as Knots Landing. Knots Landing was a great soap opera show about Gary Ewing and Valene Ewing move to Los Angeles where they live in a neighborhood where they meet new people including making friends and dealing with different life issues. Ms. Lee, you did an excellent job portraying as Karen MacKenzie because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about her friends Valene Ewing including Gary Ewing when they would have hard times in life, working hard to battle her addiction to medication, trying her best to understand life when she faces struggles in life. Also what I liked about Karen MacKenzie is how she is compassionate for people who have struggles while understanding where people come from. I enjoyed watching re runs of Knots Landing and seeing your character Karen MacKenzie continue to understand life when it gets hard or her working hard to improve herself. One of my favorite Disney movie that you were in was The Love Bug. The Love Bug was a great comedy movie about Jim Douglas, a race car driver where he finds a car named Herbie and bonds with it to do some racing. In The Love Bug, I thought you did a great job making Carole Bennett a unique character by making her have different unique traits like being resourceful at being a mechanic on cars including helping improve Herbie, having a friendship along with a relationship with Jim Douglas when he faces obstacles, and many others.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Lee, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advanced subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in different settings, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your character Karen MacKenzie in Knots Landing and as Carole Bennett in the Love Bug helps give me motivation to have compassion including understanding and find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges or when the word gets tough.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You did such an excellent job making character Karen MacKenzie in Knots Landing and as Carole Bennett in the Love Bug great characters with different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to find different methods to improve myself. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer my question. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
