Dear Ms. Gibbsons,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work in tv talk shows. When you were a correspondent of Entertainment tonight (1984-2000), I like on how you would work with the other host of Entertainment Tonight to report on different news about celebrities, explain about different tv shows including movies, and many others. Another tv talk show that you did was Leeza. Leeza was a great tv talk show where you would talk about different topics or current events. Ms. Gibbsons, I thought you did an excellent job hosting Leeza because I like on how you showed compassion for people who have struggles in life, using your show to educate people about different issues we face, having a sense of humor, and many others. Also what I liked about your work as host of the Leeza show was how you would have a conversation about disabilities ‘rights including mental health awareness, interview different famous people to understand their work, and many others.
Besides your work in the tv media career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Gibbsons, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Also I had done teaching time to help me learn to speak while learn how to improve my behavior, spent time in special education to help me learn different subjects in education, and many others. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability and helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges. Your work in the tv media including your own talk show Leeza gives me motivation to learn different things, and understand different issues that we face, be creative at learning.
I strongly believe that you made a great difference in the tv media. I’m also very proud on how you worked hard to bring awareness about different issues and continue to heavily advocate for social justice issues along with people with disabilities’ rights. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, learn about your work, watch your work in the news media, and continue to be creative at learning. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference and advocate for common sense ideas to help our society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
